Our dear friend, Ross Zirkle has been diagnosed with cancer. This blog has been created to pass along information about his recovery to his many friends. Please post your notes to Ross here and to find out how you can help him. His visitations at UK Markey Cancer Center have been curtailed so he can recover from surgery of the past week.

Please return often to check on his progress and see where you can help. Thank you for your concern.

Ross was the best professor that I ever had. His kindness and willingness to help and let me be me......has helped me become a good elementary art student. When KET released the "Visual Arts Toolkit" I saw that Ross was on the DVD section. When I found this....the next day I brought it in to show all of my classes. I told them,".....here is the greatest teacher I ever had. Humble, controled, and faithful are things that all of us strive for. Mr. Ross Zirkle has all these things". I love you Ross! Always have!

Love,
Jeremy Grizzle
(you know....Elvis' cousin)

Hi Ross. I heard that you were undergoing chemo and wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and your family and wishing you all the best during this time.

I should also tell you that the grant I submitted wasn't funded by the way (!) Maybe another time.

Take care
