Ross Zirkle Leaves Us Behind

Hello everybody,
Ross's long hard fight with cancer ended Monday about 5:30 p.m.. The last couple of days have been incredibly hard with fevers and hallucinations, on top of liver and kidney failure. He talked about printing and art up close to the very end. For those of you attending the Southern Graphics Conference in a week and a half, I'll still see you there and I'm bringing Ross's spirit with me.

Suzanne so sorry for your loss. Everyone that Ross was around loved him. He was the best teacher I ever had, and a great friend. He was an awesome influence on me and my artwork, he will definetly be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for you loss. I have heard that Ross was a very strong person! I know you can bounce back from this terrible situation. I had great artwork with him and I hope I can still be a good artist!

I had Ross as my BFA sponsor and I still think of him often. He was a generous and kind mentor.
